1 bed rest and simple analgesics

2 zanamivir and oseltamiver

3 amantadine and rimantidine

can some one please tell me when should we use this .

2- covers both inf. A as well as inf. B ... they are newer antivirals.

3 - covers just inf.A

rapid antigen detection from nasopharyngeal secretions

but the best is viral culture

then we know if it is A or B

bed rest and analgesics for all .

if it is A then amantadine and rimantidine .
