acute graft rejection has 2 subtypes one of them is type 4 while the other is type 2. see goljan rapid review. and hyperacute is type 2.

I think I should share what I discovered doing Q about post LIVER transplantation .
1. I sow if they want the answer to be ACUTE rejection the case give you an info just with biopsy -= Vasculitis of the GRAFT, 2. If they want answer to be Acute GRAFT versus host DISEASE- they do the Q like that : symptoms from the graft and GI symptoms + systemic symptoms 3. If it is a Chronic GVH - they describe a fibrosis in the graft

ok agrre type 4 as i ve memorised it
but can any1 explain traditionally it take 72 hrs for type4 then how come it be 24 in acute

Defination of acute rejection:
This may occur in DAYS of transplantation in untreated recipient .2 types 1.Acute cellular: with invlvement of mononuclear cel infiltration,and has both CD4 and CD8 lymphos 2.Acute humoral:antibody mediated vasculitis Hyper acute: within mts or hours .also Ag-Ab reac at the level of vascular endo. So acute cellular is type 4
