According to kaplan immuno pg.441 line 7 it is written that human anti-
rh-D IgD antibody at 28 weeks of gestation and again with a human anti-RhD IgG antibody within 72 hrs after birth Shall I say u onething...I was also surprised when I read it this time...

I did read it but it states that it is given post-delivery......but this is what I think that Ig G may cross placenta and damage the fetus.
It is clearly written that it doesn't cross placenta. and IgG crosses placenta...so may be kaplan is right

yea thats what i think before delivery it would damge the fetal rbcs.lemme browse it

dose is too small to cause significant damage to fetal rbcs
but sufficient to cause supression of maternal ab response |
