a sexual active female pt 28 y/o presents to you in clinic,

do you do Chlamydia screening or not??

Nope UNLESS she is promiscuous or if sh eis chnaging partners like "socks " then w ewill consider her a high risk..

1. Chlamydia screening is recommended annually for all sexually active women 25 years of age and younger.
2. An annual screening test also is recommended for older women with risk factors for chlamydia (a new sex partner or multiple sex partners).
3. All pregnant women should have a screening test for chlamydia
