You should definitely go for couples match. It will increase your chances. PDs like to have couple in the same institute. That's my experience

It will even help you, if one of you is little behind on schedule.I mean like have not given all the steps at the time of the application submission.

applying as a couple to same or even different programs in the same institute surely helps. this lets them know how much u 2 like their program and they also know that u r more dedicated. Infact couples application also helps if both of u r at different positions (resident and attending, resident and nurse....etc...)

bad for imgs. try and go for nyc and get the same city. or apply to crappy 1 horse town and ask for double pre-match.
