Hello guys!
I am very depressed . I got my score report today and its 79 for step 1. I really worked hard for this...and not that I was expecting something in 90s.....But ppl are telling me that there is no hope for getting into any residency program with this kind of score. What should I do ...? Please tell me sincerely! I am an img ...and not even with a work visa in US . I am on an H4 visa.

Is it first attempt?If it is,do not worry just put some more efferots in step 11.I know one my friend with 79 in step1 and she is doing residency.Good luck.

Yeah it was my first attempt ....and I graduated in 2003...Please can you tell me which residency programs accept such low scores?

y do u think about alll that now? 1 st give step 2.ok. dont worry about all that now, so do well in other steps.good luck.

nimra...congrats ! u got over with it.study hard for the step2 ,try to make up for this. u can get IM in some places or even family med.....if u try hard ! get into obs/ vol posts soon after step 2 !
my friends with similar scors have got into FM residencies !
