different is 1 is a real doctor and the other is NOT

can u explain a more. both of them go to medical school and study same material and go for residency.

Hi Gucci,
well, both of them have different residency positions. If one passes COMLEX exams, then he/she has to go for DO degree and one who passes USMLE, then he/she has to go for MD degree. Basically both are MD s but becoz the earlier gave COMLEX, he/she will be awarded with DO degree. I hope this answers your questions. Regards, Dr Baig.
