M.D.=medical doctor
D.O.=osteopathic doctor

D.O. are trained in a more holistic approach, with whole body treat with training in manipulations. For instance, a DO may treat Meningitis with manipulation and medication. It had its orgins in Chiropractic medicine.

they are almost the same now. NO BODY in the whole world treats meningitis with manipulations. you stop your manipulations shyster ))

I'm just telling you what one of the students at a DO school told me. I have not been to one. They did not say just by manipulations- if you read the post, it said manipulation and medication. If you are a DO, I am not trying to offend you. I have meet many good DO Doctors. But what I am telling you that the DO student told me is true, so be mad at him.
