I dont think every case would need catheterisation

& do we really do renal biopsy in nephrotics???

dont you guys think its too invasisve to order at first??

and shuldnt we give steroids in nephrotics too as Minimal change dis is its most common cause??

in adults if you think the syndrome is due to primary renal disease then they definitely do the biopsy. but in ccs case 5 minute window may not take you upto that point

I think it will depend one the given case.

As for me. I am not planning to order more tests than required.
I think if empiric Rx doesnt ork then only we shud order biopsy
