It's really hard with those scores ( but I guess nothing is impossible )

A friend of mine with 99/99 scores and extensive surgery experience in home country could not get categorical surgery last year - he took prelim surgery in post-match and trying again this year

Again, nothing is impossible - you should develop contacts in surgery dept's; maybe aim for prelim surgery first - it's much easier to get.

Anest is very competetive too as well

Have a back up plan as well

I would consider Ob/gyn , you can choose to do gyn surg mostly , the field is low due to >> malpractice premiums on the oB part.
