if u have only EAD when u apply, do u need a visa or that is will be enough to get a spot in residency?

I think it is better than the visa.
as many programs says: either GC holder, EAD or a citizen.
no visas are sponsored .
which means it is better than visas.
I think you will still be eligible to stay in the country and to travel as long as you have a pending permenant residancy application.
