captopril-how does that help, if there is a kidney problem
captopril decreases GFR. Wouldnt it worsen the problem?

B is right ans. in diabetic nephropathy ACE inhibitor is good. ACE inhibitor should be avoided only in Renal artery stenosis.

hydrocholorothiazide is lil help ful in hyperurecemia. but in diabetic its not a good choice untill there is vol overload.

ACE inhibitors decreses intra glomerular pressure thus prevents progression of renal injury in DM .....Captopril
