What is an FMG?
An FMG has been successfully trained as a physician in their homeland.
An FMG comes from diverse cultural lands such as India,
Pakistan, and the Philippines often having to overcome
war and poverty.
An FMG by the age of 30, is generally more clinical experienced
than an American graduate of the same age.
An FMG often has to take a part-time or full-time job in
areas other than medicine, and generally never complains.
An FMG is asked to score higher than their American counterparts, on
tests
where English is not their primary language.
