hi,
i started preparing for usmle recently and planning to take the exam by the end of jan or in feb.what do i need to study and how many hrs should i have to study?

well buddy if u just started, this is the time to build foundation. just concentrate on ur basics and study only kaplan and goljan rr. if u need help can check other reference books. but dont get stuck with them. dont try to do nbme or uw during the first read. during the 2nd read do uw side by side subject wise and add notes. after u r done with ur 2nd read do nbme 1/2 forms to see where u stand. if u want to take the test in feb then u have time of 4 months. its enough for a good prepartaion. 8 hours daily is enough to score in higher 90s.
