Even if they open the email they will most likely ignore it. since they have alot of applicant they would not remember your name. So DONT PANIC

How can you be so foolish as to send an apology. Didnt you read of reinforcement while taking step 1. Go ahead and re-inforce your name in his memory by sending another mail. I can see that some of you folks have nothing else to do. Go get a life.

Actually, if you use Microsoft Outlook you can recall a email. It does not solve the problem but it is a way to do it professionaly.
