A Mexican patient comes in complaining of altered mental status. He has been having this problem for a few months. An MRI revealed a weakly ring enhancing lesion in the periventricular area. The mass is single and pcr in the csf shows Positive ebv dna. The patient has a cd4 count of 1oo and is taking tmp smx, you run a series of tests and his serum shows he is positive for toxoplasmosis antibodies,. He has 3 cats at home. what is the diagnosis?
