35yo women comes to physician bc of intermittent tingling and numbness of her feel during the past 6 months. has a 30y h/o DM. sensation of joint position is decreased in toes and ankle and vibraion sense is decreased in feet. decreased ankle jerk reflex. pathologcial changes in which of the following:

I go for 2 ..Being away from the cell body makes the distal portion of the axon the most liable for injury metabolic diseases .Proximal parts can regenerate better .
