Any benifits of UK Passport - klatskin

hi there. can anyone help me here. I am a permanent Resident of UK with Indian passport. I am eligible for UK passport. Can anyone tell me if I apply for UK Passport now and get it before next match(2006), will i stand any better chance in getting residency or H1B visa or a green card. Please could anybody let me know?Many thanks..

your UK passport may get you entry to the U.S. but may not necessarily get you into a residency. Program Directors don't ask for passports during interviews, only the burly immigration officer at LAX. You have to do well on your USMLE's like the rest of the IMG's.
