post-contraction - doc_vic
#1
in cardiomyocyte, after contraction, the Ca is removed by either Na-Ca ATPase on mem or ca++ pump on SR. How about skeletal muscle? is ryanidine receptor has something to do with it?

u mean ryanodine receptors right

ryanodine receptors in the ms and neurons are resp for the calcium mediate release of calcium

ryanodine receptors in skeletal muscle is responsible for acctive extraction Ca back into SR after contraction.

My q: in cardiac muscle, the receptor in SR that pump back ca is also ryanodine receptor or a dif receptor?

Ryanodine receptor r component of ca release channels in SR in SKM which r responsible for contraction.for pumping of ca back into SR there is ca pump which is present both in SKM n CM

I think it's Ca++ pump which pumps calcium back into SR.
