can we send pthome with IV antibiotic?
how about cases like meningitis, IE, septic arthritis, PID?

how many day pt should be in hospital after vital,fever stable?

if y u asking regarding ccs i doute the case will go that long that u send pt home with AB

if u r asking as genral rule the pt needs to be hospitalized until become stable like
no fever for 24 hour
stabilize cbc
stable bmp
no nausea or vomiting
pt able to walk or used the bathroom
no constipation and rinary retnsion

pt can go home on iv AB, if they required to be one for 4 to 6 wks or longer

how about if 5 min screen appear while pt giving iv a/b

its depant if pt need to be on ivAB for 4 to 6 wks, do not d/c iv to oral, if pt does not need to on iv AB any more d/c iv to oral before d/c pt home

after you change location to home, 5min screen appear, review the order and cancel IV antibiotic, order oral antibiotic. please correct me!
