Hi:
I have passed usmle exams with scores in high 80`s in both steps.2002 graduate.4 months USCE(2 months elective courses and 2 months observership).I will take step-3 next may.
Anyone with similar scores who got matched this year and is there is a big difference b/w high 80`s scores and low 90`s.B/c when i reviewed the minimum score req. for IM 95% of them ask for 80 and 85% as minimum..

they do ask, but sometimes min requirement of 80s is a bit flexible - my scores 78(2nd-attempt)/81, no visa issues - I had 12 interviews in IM - matched to my #4 hospital...the place I mathched to had requirements of 80 in first attempt - so if you have other things going for you, score requirements can be relaxed....
