syed....................but mitral valve endocarditis should cause sysytemic thromboembolism, like to th brain, and not pulmonary thromboembolism,or what do you think.

(F) Incorrect. Diabetes mellitus increases the risk for atherosclerosis, but atherosclerosis does not involve veins.
