American grads are very old too. because of the 4 years requirement prior to med school. 2002 shouldnt be a problem. And also believe me US is not getting the best of IMGs from all over the world. The best guys stay with the top institutes in their own home country.

I have a question about the 5 year graduation cutoff ..does it mean that you need to fall under this category by the time you start the program or by the time you apply for the residency?
