Is it enough to have EAD or green card?? - mark124

Dear Doctors,

I have EAD and my green card is pending. Some program are strict about having Green card only at time of application many programs are ok with EAD. Some programs dont even understand EAD. My concerns are :

1. is EAD good enough for matching or strictly green card needed??

2. If program doesnt understands that EAD=I do not require any visa how to state that in ERAS application, as there is no way to mention except word EAD??

state your visa situation in your personal statement. You can mention it at the end. It's laways a good idea

If what you mean by pending is surely gonna be approve in near future, just write permanent resident. Many people assume that EAD is only good for a certain period of time hence you will be classified as need visa.
