when do we give thiamine,dextrose,naloxone cocktail..do we have to give in every case of alt mental status??
how to secure airway??

for altered mental status pt:

pulse ox
iv access
cardiac monitor
bp monitoring continous
fingerstick glucose
iv thiamine
iv naloxone
forward clock 1 min & give iv glucose
Airway, oral

when do we give thiamine,dextrose,naloxone cocktail ?
- no history known,
- suspicious of poisoning
- suicide attempt
but it will be clear from case i think

how to secure airway?
- no option available except for airway, oral.

can we put ngt with suction to prevent aspiration??
