ppd test
if positive do cxr....to see if latent or active tb... latent - inh 9 mths and pyridoxine active- full course of att if initial ppd negative...repeat ppd in 3 mths

ortholove; reason blw INH + PYRIDOXINE to prevent PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY.

in kids expsed to active tb even if ppd is negative dont you give inh??

3y child exposed to active tb pt ....ppd - should get INH for 3 month
