TTP vs HUS
1.age(mc ttp-adult,HUS-child)
2.chief complaints(TTP-neurologic findings,HUS-- child comes with fever(sepsis) )
3.symptoms(TTP- mc neurologic ,HUS- mc uremic )
thats all i remember.

you are right, that is all you need to remember

For the pleasure of your eyes, I mean you wana read more about the topic:

-----Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura:
Nonimmune thrombocytopenia, occurs mainly in young women; severe thrombocytopenia, microangiopathic hemolytic anemia (schistocytes present), neurologic abnormalities (often severe), renal failure (usually mild), and fever; secondary to endothelial damage of small vessels by unknown circulating factor in plasma --> widespread platelet thrombus formation (not a fibrin clot as in DIC) and thrombocytopenia (platelet consumption); prolonged bleeding time; obstruction of microvasculature by platelet thrombi damages RBCs (intravascular hemolysis) --> widespread organ injury

-----Hemolytic uremic syndrome
Nonimmune thrombocytopenia, occurs primarily in infants and young children; clinically similar to thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura except for milder neurologic abnormalities, more severe renal disease, and in some cases a history of exposure to a toxin produced by E. coli O157:H7 consumed in raw ground beef
