How do I explain my IM residency in Prsnl Statmnt? - docaq

I am mostly applying for internal medicine programs.. but as a back up i have few Family med programs on my list.

I had 2 years of residency in General Medicine / Internal Medicine back home.. which i hope helps me for my IM.. i have mentioned that in CAF and highlighted it in my PS for Int Medicine.

Now How do i mention that in my personal statement for Famly Med? How can i defend myself on that?

Any intelligent answers? wud be thankful..

Just focus on the primary care aspect/side and exposure to primary care u received during those 2 years of residency. You can highlight it more if you did not have a family practice program in your hospital.......
