yes CT scan is preferrd than USS as an initial diagnostic tool for suspected ca pancrease, but in cases of obstructuve jundice the opposite is true

coz in cancer we need to see soft tissue spread to plan resection. i obst jaundice (non ca) only need to make diagnosis
