Hemorroids, portal - caval anstomoses............................sup/middle/inf rectal vein 3. esophageal varices - portal-caval anstomoses.................left gastric and azygous 4. caput medusa................................................................paraumblical/inf epigastrric. gut..butt and caput.. these r three common anastamosis in alcoholic chirrosis

splenic-renal shunt. Connect splenic vein to left renal vein, allowing some blood to bypass the liver.
