being a foriegn medical graduate and still having to take the exam and finish residency,, ...is one legally able to use the MD tiltle against ones name right now.
OR one can use the MD title after finishing USMLE exams.
OR have to wait till one finishes the residency?
Thanks

Well, I think if u went thru med school and passed thru it, then I beleive u r entitled to put that after ur name. U r a doctor, a medical doctor..at the very least...one who does not pretend to be one...like chiropractors, phds.....woohoo...flamesuit on!

I guess it depends where u r, if u r in the U.S then is O.K to use M.D title straigtaway from med school. But, in some countries like mine, u get MBChB degree after med school but M.D or M.Med is obtained after specializing(completion of residency). If u use MD just after completing med. school can b misleading in some countries!
