pregnancy.......post exposure prophlaxis within 96 hrs.......only VZIG.....no live vaccines in preg

if active maternal lesions of chicken pox 4 days before or 2 days after delivery then VZIG to the child ie post exposure prophylaxis of neonate

HIV....... post exposure proplylaxis with VZIG within 96 hrs and VZ vaccine if CD4 more than 200

if CD 4 less than 200 then only immunoglobulin as live vaccine might actually cause the disease
