If it true why USMLE do not notify about this to let old imgs can make a decision not take tests or not . So they can save time , money . Being an old imgs is a hug disadvantage . Is there no hope for old imgs?

Don't despair, there are some programs without graduation cutoff. But for certain the old IMGs don't have it easy.

it does not matter...i graduated in 2001...applied to many programs which had 3 yr cut off date too...most of the ivs i got were from the programs that had 3-5 yr cut off..so if u have good scores, i think graduation date does not matter too much..
of course there r some programs which have automatic filters.[there is no way to find out which has]..but i spoke to some programs co- ordinators, esp where i iv ed n they said usually they have scores, visa,n attempts as filters..so if u make it thru those filters at least they will go thru ur application.
hope it helps..
