telomerase is present in adult stem cells bt not in somatic cells , wat is the difference b/w adult stem cells and somatic cells

adult stem cell is the cell that can be differentiated to any type of cells vs
somatic cells is the already differentiated cell that cant change its type.

telomerase is present in highly dividing cells like stem cells, cancer cells... its function is to preserve the DNA even after many cell cycles... somatic cells can not enter in cell cycle phases.. these r permanent cells.. so somatic cell does not need telomerase...
