i am an img 2006 Permanent resident.My scores are 92 and 91.I have taken my cs on dec 29 and am waiting for the results.I applied through eras in nov 2009.I applied to 113 P rograms.but i only got one interview in family medicine.My results of cs would be coming in feb before the dead line for match.I am very discouraged with my self that will i be able to get a residency this or next year.I am currently doing a reserach in a hospital to get some experince.I will really apprecite your advices and criticism.

Dont worry about next year it is in your pocket, good scores, GC, research experience,. Do some observership and you will be fine. Regarding this year, well, some people match with one program especially in family med, keep in faith.

I think you will have much better chances next match season...your great disadvantage this year was thatt you were not ECFMG certified...step 3 and keeping doing research will put you in great position
