cause of vasoconestriction in rynaud disease? - elham

whats the cause of vasoconstriction in rynaud ds?,,
and also any one know what amino acid is in pro insulin ?is that cystein or serin or what ?

Must be serin, becuase Cystein keep together the 2 chain of insulin.
The vasocontriction is due to arteriolar spasm due to subintimal hyperplasia of the small vessels.

pro-insulin is made up of a number of aa....but if it's a choice between serine and cysteine....serine is present together with leucine, alanine, etc.

vasoconstriction in Raynaud's would be due to hyperactivity of the sympathetic NS...due to certain factors like temperature, stress, drugs, etc...or it may be idiopathic as is the case in primary raynaud's
