what do i need to apply for residency?please help - married2008

Hi Everyone,
I am a Med graduate(2007) from India,cleared s1 and cs,working on ck.Planning to apply for 2011 residency.
Can someone please guide me through the process by answering the following questions based on your experience:
Good time to start application process?
Hospitals/Universities i should start with?
Any good weblinks i need to look at?
What credentials /referal letters that i need{no usce}

first things first get ur step 2 CK and USCE.
try and get LOR's from ur faculty from India (but they are not considered as strong LOR's) but still something is better than nothing ... and try to get some clinical volunteer stuff... observership or if u can afford externships...
fill up the gaps between ur graduation date till date

Apply to observerships as fast as possible to get recommendations before 1 Sept

Hi friend
1-you have to score high in step 2 ck, to get the 995 points that give you 99 score email me.
2-you have to apply to the 2010 img friendly residency programs lists which will also be available on my website after few months.
3-do observerships and get US LORs, the observerships list is also present with me if you want it.
