can somebody please tell me which one looks better on cv? a research experience with or without publication or shadowing a physician in clinic?
im a caribbean grad, who did not match this year. i do have us clinical experience.

US clinical experience is key. If you went through Ross or 5th pathway you have your group of favorable schools to apply to next year. But research can't hurt. Remember that luck and charisma during interviews can tip you over the top, like the CSS section can tip a lot of test takers over the top of step 3. Good luck buddy.
