hand washing v/s gloves - goalchaser

Hi Do we have to do both hand washing and wear gloves or any one of them....One of my friends who took exam some yrs back said one of the sp asked him to wear gloves when he tried to start the exam after handwashing without gloves...pls help me with answers..Thanx

only handwashing.....but if u have some skin diseases or cuts/wounds then both handwashing n gloves

hand washing will give you credits, but don't turn your back to the patient during washing, give him your side.
gloves may make the patient feel that you are afraid to touch him.

Do the easy way.....wash...it gives u a breather,u can think about what to do in examination part,or ask some Q to SP.

Handwashing alone is enough, but pls don't forget to rub your hands together to make them warm before touching the SP.
