I am on H 4 visa right now, planning to apply for this year's match, need H1. I came to know that the total time on H visa whether H4 or H1 is 6 years.
By the time I join residency next year (hopefully), I will be left with only 2 years for H1 as it would have been 4 years since I came to the US on H4.
I am expecting Greencrad by next year end through my husband's labor certification processing.

My question are -----------

1.Are the hospitals going to look at the number of years I have on H1 or is it ok?.

2.Can I convince them about the green card we are going to get?

3.Are they to going to agree for H1to J1 shift, if they are delays in our labor processing?

Please clarify.

THANKS A LOT

I dont think hospitals will look at how many years of hib you have left, but thing to consider here is that what happens if you cant get green card by the end of your tenure of 6 yrs.I am in samilar situation right now, The green card processing being erratic as it is, we can never know.....all be can do is act hoping everything turns out ok.
