when do we start n wht is d frequency on colonoscopy in inflammatory bowel disease

For Both UC and Chron, colitis lasting more than 8-10 years annual colonoscpy is recomended, 4 quadrant surveillance, biopsy every 5-10 cm. Any grade of dysplasia is an indicator for total colectomy.
