@incidentaloma,not quite sure about your statement but i am quite positive that anti-dsDNA and anti-SM suggest active lupus.

there are many autoantibodies are assocoated with SLE but Anti-dsDNA and anti smooth muscles antibody are more sensitive,but according to wikipedia anti-topoisomerase(sub type anti scl-70)
is also present in sle nephritis.

thanks for the reference incidentaloma,but the option says active lupus and not lupus nephritis.

so mean lupus nephritis is dormant lupus not active lupus??????
