A 6 yr old boy has been unable to walk for 2 days becoz of sore right knee. 3 weeks ago ha had a s sore throat and fever that resolved within 2 days. He appears ill. his temp is 39(102.5) & pulse is 120. A grade 2/6 pansystolic murmur is heard at the apex. The right knee is red tender swolllen any motion is painful. His wbc is 15000 and esr is 120mm/h
What is the causal org?

strept. pneumonia is the most common cause of osteomyeiltis. Hope I'm right...

it is rheumatic fever caused by group A beta haemolytic streptoccoci so ithink it is 4
