anaplasia is reversion of deifferentiation in cells and is characterstic of malignancy and they are totally different structurally and functionally from the normal cells. The cells are pleomorphic hyerchromatic and increased capacity of multiplication while DYSPLASIA is abnormality in which cell maturation and differentiation is delayed and this term is typically used if the abnormality is restricted to the originating tissue and is often indicative of early neoplastic process.e.g CIN, epithelial dysplasia,myelodysplastic syndrome.
