dear friends I have a question :

can I do the elective in Mcgill in montreal instead the elective in Usa ?
is it the same in the c.v

I've heard that Mcgill has a good reputation in usa ...any idea ?

canada is in canada.

canada is close to the us, but it IS A FOREIGN COUNTRY, with a different healthcare system. So yes it's good probably better than a letter for a professor in Heildelberg, Germany (also among the top institutions in the world, but foreign). I would go for a US letter, any day of the week even if it is from a mid tier univ program.

qwerty that is the reason why you wouldn't get into a program. McGill is a leader in the world... If you can take a clinic in a world class leader then its better than any mid tier usa program.
