regarding interviews, i really dont think there will be any difference on when u shcedule it, to me, they know whom to pick regardless of when u interview.
peds less competitive, well, i dont understand how one could really compare it with IM, since the slots for IM are about twice as much and also the number of applicants, so its hard to compare.
about whether a program is on probation or bankrupt, it shouldnt affect us, i am sure they would be wise enough to correct all their mistakes and get out of their probations, if it closes down u move to another one.
when it boils down to it, we all want to match in the residency of our interest.
anyway, i was just commenting cause i dont have much news regarding interviews.
