Testicular mass with hemorrhagic necrosis, epithelial cell arrange in gradular pattern, inc AFP and hCG

since its both AFP and HCG it is embryonal carcinoma...

only AFP = yolk sac also called andodermal sinus tumor
only HCG= choriocarcinoma

teratoma can show obth inc in HCG and AFP but then it will not show haemorrhagic necrosis...it will show derivatives of all three germ layers..

embryonal carcinoma typically a bulky tumor with areas of heamorrhagic necrosis, radiosensitive and hematogenour spread before lymphatic.

inc HCG can also be seen in soem caes of seminoma..

It is embryonal carcinoma
Hemorrhagic necrosis, epithelial cell arrange in gradular pattern are quite specific for embryonal carcinoma
