Go to the website of major university hospitals close to where you live. Almost all university hospitals have email addresses of faculty members in various specialties. If you can't find their email addresses, type their name+hospital name into google and see if you can find an email id that way. Email a few of them (or all of them, if you have time) in your chosen specialty. Attach your CV, board scores, and quickly explain when+why you want to do an observership. A lot of doctors are really nice and will be willing to accommodate you. In this day and age, it's all about mass emailing. All it takes is one nice doctor to reply back Hope this helps.
