When we applied, it took upto $8-25 to apply in any program. But, when they send rejection, they just say "due to large volume of application, we are unable to interview you". They mostly never give valid reason for rejection. Most of the time, we may fit in their criteria, but they don't want to give valid reason for rejection. This is what we paid for during application. Programs also says "we are unble to provide the status of an individual application". So, what are you doing with that money?

Really don't think the residency programs are making money from this. Perhaps you should address your grievance with AAMC.

yeah I agree, like wtf is it with AAMC in conjunction w these res. prgms. ...it's sometimes advisable to apply to many many programs(Large Shotgun Approach) to help increase odds of IVs, but some of it it seems could be put to better use/more constructive purposes then instead by the applicant, (e.g., extra Lap Dance money funding...)
