ah...eh saang province? like bulacan? or batangas? san nag apply friend mo?? so just ask for oec un lang un??
eh kung punta hongkong then punta us ?? like ung ginagawa ng mga ofw na pumupunta ng ban na bansa??? :-)

sang poea puntahan? tinignan ko sa internet me regional office sila sa la union, cebu at davao...tapus merong din regional extension unit sa baguio, then merong satellite office...pwede na dun sa satellite office??? tnx...although wala pa, kung ano ano na kasi naiisip ko, rampant kc ung imagination eh...kelangan me problemahin haaay.... :-(

if i tell you kung saan nag punta yung friend ko....dudumugin nyo yung place at mapapansin nila at baka mayari pa kayong lahat kung doon kayo magpunta lahat.......any nearby province will do, mas maganda kalat kayo. I hope maintindihan mo ako. If you go to HK or some other place...titignan parin nila ang passport mo diba? so pwede nila makita ang H1b visa mo....and ayaw mo bang magbakasyo sa pinas ng hassle free? So better get the OEC officially...kung di ka makalusot eh wala kang choice kungdi umalis in all possible way.

Lahat ng OFW pag bumabalik kailangan i-renew ang OEC....if umalis ka ng pinas without the original oec ( meaning illegally).......you have nothing to renew ...you have to go through the long process of acquiring your OEC if you decide to have a vacation sa pinas during your residency, at baka madelay ka at di ka makabalik sa US on time....even then they will ask agency parin.

If i were you, i'll visit POEA sa pasig and other branches and look at the requirements and steps para ready kana.....you can only start the ball rolling kung may H1b visa ka na from your employer anyways....which will happen somewhere in may or june........so technically you have 1 to 2 mos do everything. if na prematch ka kadalasan di parin nila ibibigay ang h1b mo kasi gusto kasi gusto nila sabay sabay kayo ng na prematch at di na pre-match.
Other sources of delay......pag nakuha mo na ang "notice of action" for your h1b, kailangan mo pang mag punta sa us embassy........para ibigay sa iyo yung h1b visa....what if binigay sa iyo ang notice of action june 1.......tapos pagtingin mo sa visa interview ang open date eh july 10.....so late ka na..... sa july 1 start ng program mo at mag hihintay ka pa na i-mail ang visa mo. then apply sa poea....which can take as short as 3 days to 5 days kung sa pasig ka. so sched your interview in anticipation of when your "notice of action arrives". All the best, it is better that you anticipate this things then be sorry.

i just want to ask, what are the steps sa pag kuha ng h1b visa? pag namatch, kukuha ka ng lawyer to fix those papers right? then punta us embassy...then poea for the oew & other requirements to leave pinas? tama ba? wat abt bureau of immigration, do we need to go there also? thanks

hi cheila...it depends sa ospital kung sila ang gagastos for the lawyer or you will have to hire your. own lawyer..so better ask the hospital kung san ka namatch....requirements include cv, diplomas, transcripts including usmle trans, ecfmg cert, step 3 score, passport copy, among others....isuggest going for the premium processing which is additional 1200 dollars for faster processing since it takes normally 3 to 5 months....after getting the approval from uscis and getting your h1 visa, that is the only time you got to the poea....i suggest to go to a poea center na provincial office insteadnasamain sa ortigas para no hassle sa pila masyado at di mabusisi...

there is no need to go to bureau of immigration....
